Is the speedboat ride to Hong Island (Krabi) rough or far from Phuket?
Hong Island (Krabi) is located approximately 25 kilometers east of Phuket, which takes about 40 - 50 minutes by speedboat from Royal Phuket Marina. As a result, the journey is relatively short and comfortable.
Furthermore, the route passes through Phang Nga Bay, which is one of the calmest bodies of water in the Andaman Sea. Because the bay is naturally protected by dramatic limestone mountains on all sides, strong winds and large waves are extremely rare. However, if you are concerned about motion sickness, we recommend taking seasickness medication 30 minutes before departure. In addition, our experienced captains adjust speed for maximum passenger comfort throughout the journey.

Which hotels do you pick up from? Is there an extra charge?
We provide free round-trip hotel transfers by air-conditioned minivan from most hotels across Phuket, including Patong, Kata, Karon, Kamala, Bang Tao, Surin, Phuket Town, and Rawai. For hotels in remote areas such as Mai Khao, Nai Yang, or Cape Panwa, a small surcharge may apply. If your hotel is outside Phuket province, such as Khao Lak or Phang Nga province, a private transfer can be arranged for an additional 3,500 THB per van (round trip). Hotel pickup typically begins around 8:00 AM, with arrival at Royal Phuket Marina in Phuket Province around 9:30 AM.
What happens if the weather is bad on the day of the tour?
The tour operates year-round, rain or shine. A light tropical shower rarely affects the experience and can make the limestone scenery even more dramatic. However, if extreme weather conditions such as a tropical storm occur, we may modify the itinerary for safety — for example, adjusting the order of stops or replacing one location with a sheltered alternative. If conditions are genuinely unsafe for boating, we will contact you in advance to offer rescheduling to another date during your stay or switching to an alternative tour. You will never lose your money due to weather cancellations.
Is Halal food available? Do I need to paddle the canoe myself?
You do not need to paddle at all. During the sea cave canoeing activity at Talu Island, each canoe comes with an experienced local paddler who guides you through the caves and mangrove forests — all you need to do is sit back and enjoy. Regarding food, lunch is served at a restaurant on Panyee Island, a traditional floating Muslim fishing village built entirely on stilts. Because Panyee Island is a Muslim community, all food served is Halal by default. Muslim travelers can enjoy every dish with complete confidence. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available on request.
